Hyvä Lukon ystävä,
Vuosi 2025 alkaa olla silausta vaille valmis ja on aika katsoa hieman taaksepäin sekä totta kai samalla jo vahvasti eteenpäin.
Keväällä juhlimme U20-joukkueen Suomen mestaruutta, ja liigajoukkueemme sijoittui sarjassa neljänneksi. Uusi kausi on jo hyvässä vauhdissa. Sarjojen ollessa puolivälissä olemme Liigassa erinomaisissa asemissa. Pelasimme hyvän, nousujohteisen syyskauden ja varsinkin marras- ja joulukuu olivat meille upeita. CHL-sarjassa pääsimme puolivälieriin ja Liigassa olemme nyt aivan kärkikahinoissa. Nuori U20-joukkueemme kamppailee illasta toiseen ennakkoluulottomasti, ja playoff-paikka on edelleen täysin mahdollinen.
Syyskaudella 2025 meille varmistui myös kaksi suurta hanketta: Liigan tuleva sarjajärjestelmäuudistus sekä areenamme tuleva peruskorjaus. Molemmat asiat ovat meille todella merkittäviä ja tärkeitä. Lukolla oli vaikuttava rooli Liigan asiaa päätettäessä. Suomalainen jääkiekko löysi yhteisen suunnan tulevaisuuteen, josta voimme olla ylpeitä. Liigassa pelaamme ensi kaudella 2026–2027 ns. superkauden, jonka jälkeen joukkuemäärä supistuu. Me valmistaudumme tähän huolella ja tulevan kauden joukkueemme rakennus etenee aikataulussa. Luotamme myös jatkossa erittäin laadukkaaseen päivittäiseen huippu-urheilun arkityöhömme.
Kivikylän Areenan tuleva peruskorjaus on taas yksi todiste siitä, että Rauma on todellinen urheilukaupunki. Äijänsuon laaja uudistushanke tuo laadukkaampia olosuhteita niin jääkiekkoon kuin myös jalkapalloonkin. Marraskuussa 2028 pystymme tuottamaan entistäkin parempia asiakaskokemuksia, kun uuden areenan ovet aukeavat. Kiitos tästä jo nyt kaupungin sekä Lukko-perheen suuntaan kaikille päätöksessä sekä valmistelussa mukana olleille. Yhdessä saamme ihmeitä aikaan.
Menneen syyskauden yhdeksi tähtihetkeksi pitää nostaa myös ”meidän Ingamme” muistamisen. Suurin kannattajamme, rautarouva Inga Helimo, sai ansaitsemansa oman ottelun sekä samalla areenamme sydän eli päätykatsomo nimettiin Ingan päädyksi. Hänen upean puheensa aikana hallissa aisti Lukko-hengen ja taidettiin siinä hetkessä muutamia silmäkulmiakin kuivata.
Huippu-urheilun rinnalla olemme Lukko Oy:ssä aktivoituneet nyt myös tapahtumatuotannon puolella. Syksyllä toteutimme onnistuneesti Auringonlaskun Festivaalin VIP-kokonaisuuden, Floska-festin sekä ennätykselliset Superpikkujoulut. Jatkamme tulevaisuudessakin näiden kaikkien mainittujen tapahtumien kanssa ja kehitämme koko ajan uutta. Miksi? Meillä on osaamista sekä resursseja tuottaa alueellemme erilaisia elämyksiä sekä tapahtumia. Näin saamme samalla luotua yhtiöllemme uutta liikevaihtoa, kannattavuutta ja sitä kautta taas uusia ja entistä parempia resursseja päätuotteeseemme eli jääkiekkoon. Siellä panostuksemme ovat nyt ja jatkossakin erittäin merkittäviä niin Liigaan kuin juniorijääkiekkoonkin. Tavoitteemme ovat korkeat ja niitä kohden menemme yhdessä teidän mahtavien kannattajiemme ja tukijoidemme kanssa. Kiitos, että olette mukana. Ilman teitä ei olisi meitä ja yhdessä me olemme Lukko.
Henkilökohtaisesti vuosi 2025 on ollut minulle uuden opettelua sekä tutustumista eri sidosryhmiimme. Vuosi on ollut todella innostava ja palkitseva. Jo tämän lyhyen ajan aikana olen ilolla saanut seurata läheltä lukuisia kehitysloikkia niin yksilö- kuin tiimitasollakin. Olenkin etuoikeutettu saadessani tehdä tätä merkityksellistä työtä Lukossa osana arvostettua konserniamme. Yhtiössämme arvostetaan pitkäjänteisyyttä ja ahkeruutta sekä aitoa, yhteistä halua tehdä asiat oikein. ”Tulokset ovat todiste siitä, että teemme oikeita asioita”. Tämä oli muuten entisen esimieheni lempilause.
Parasta tässä työssä onkin erilaisten ihmisten ja huippuosaajien kanssa toimiminen, jatkuva vuoropuhelu kannattajiemme sekä kumppaniemme kanssa sekä, totta kai, meidän kaikkien yhteiset hetkemme Kivikylän Areenalla. Voitot ja tappiot, ilot ja surut - kaikkia näitä koemme yhdessä nyt ja jatkossa. Sinikeltainen yhteisömme on suuri ja vahva.
Haluan esittää Lukon puolesta lämpimät kiitokseni kaikille teille sinikeltaisille, joukkueillemme, henkilöstöllemme, Lukko Oy hallitukselle, omistajillemme sekä yhteistyökumppaneillemme kuluneesta vuodesta 2025. Olemme tehneet tästä vuodesta onnistuneen. Tästä on oikein hyvä jatkaa luottavaisin mielin vuoteen 2026.

CEO Rafael Eerola’s New Year’s Greeting
Dear friend of Lukko,
The year 2025 is almost finished, and it is time to look back a little and, of course, already strongly ahead.
In the spring, we celebrated the Finnish championship of our U20 team, and our Liiga team finished fourth in the league. The new season is already well underway. With the leagues at their halfway point, we are in an excellent position in Liiga. We played a strong, steadily improving autumn season, and especially November and December were outstanding for us. In the CHL, we advanced to the quarterfinals, and in Liiga we are now right in the thick of the title race. Our young U20 team competes fearlessly night after night, and a playoff spot is still very much within reach.
During the autumn of 2025, two major projects were also confirmed for us: the upcoming reform of the Liiga league system and the future renovation of our arena. Both are extremely significant and important to us. Lukko played an influential role in the decision-making process regarding Liiga. Finnish ice hockey found a shared direction for the future—one we can be proud of. In the 2026–2027 season, Liiga will play a so-called “super season,” after which the number of teams will be reduced. We are preparing for this carefully, and the construction of our team for the coming season is progressing on schedule. We will continue to place great trust in our high-quality daily elite sports work.
The upcoming renovation of Kivikylän Arena is yet another proof that Rauma is a true sports city. The extensive redevelopment project of Äijänsuo will bring improved conditions for both ice hockey and football. In November 2028, we will be able to deliver even better customer experiences when the doors of the renewed arena open. Already now, sincere thanks to the city and to the entire Lukko family—to everyone involved in the decision-making and preparation. Together, we can achieve wonders.
One of the highlights of the past autumn season was also the tribute to “our Inga.” Our greatest supporter, the iron lady Inga Helimo, received a well-deserved game in her honor, and at the same time the heart of our arena—the end stand—was named "Ingan Pääty". During her wonderful speech, the spirit of Lukko could be felt throughout the arena, and I believe a few eyes were wiped dry at that moment.
Alongside elite sports, we at Lukko Oy have also become more active in event production. In the autumn, we successfully delivered the VIP concept for the Auringonlasku Festival, the Floska Fest, and record-breaking Super Pikkujoulut. We will continue with all these events in the future and constantly develop new ones. Why? Because we have the expertise and resources to create diverse experiences and events for our region. At the same time, this allows us to generate new revenue and profitability for our company, and through that, new and even better resources for our core product—ice hockey. Our investments there are now and will continue to be very significant, both in Liiga and in junior hockey. Our goals are high, and we are moving toward them together with you, our amazing supporters and partners. Thank you for being part of this. Without you, there would be no us—and together, we are Lukko.
On a personal level, 2025 has been a year of learning and getting to know our various stakeholders. The year has been truly inspiring and rewarding. Even in this short time, I have had the pleasure of witnessing numerous leaps in development, both at the individual and team levels. I feel privileged to be able to do this meaningful work at Lukko as part of our respected group. In our company, we value long-term commitment, hard work, and a genuine, shared desire to do things the right way. “Results are proof that we are doing the right things.” That, by the way, was my former supervisor’s favorite saying.
The best part of this work is collaborating with different people and top professionals, maintaining continuous dialogue with our supporters and partners, and, of course, sharing our moments together at Kivikylän Arena. Wins and losses, joys and sorrows—we experience all of these together, now and in the future. Our blue-and-yellow community is large and strong.
On behalf of Lukko, I would like to extend my warm thanks to all of you in blue and yellow, to our teams, our staff, the Board of Lukko Oy, our owners, and our partners for the past year 2025. We have made this a successful year. It is a very good foundation on which to continue confidently into 2026.
